With a burning passion for all sports & activities, a healthy obsession for functional movement patterns and a thirst for knowledge I believe the services I offer aren't just for athletes but also for people who might be suffering from any type of pain or dysfunction.
I approach my clients as a holistic movement practitioner, meaning I use various techniques, such as Biomechanics Coaching, Sport Massage Therapy; including Muscle Energy Techniques (MET), Myofascial Release (MFR), Soft Tissue Release (STR), Trigger Point Release (TPR), Neuro-muscular Therapy (NMT) and Positional Release (PR) along with Corrective Exercises and Static, Dynamic & Fascial Line stretching in order to bring the body into balance.
I have an abundance of experience as an athlete, competing in a variety of sports at local, national and international levels since my teens and, like many athletes, I've been on the therapists couch numerous times. In 1999 I began training in the Martial Arts which opened my eyes to an array of movement patterns and my own physical limitations, this drove me to seek out a higher level of understanding of Anatomy & Physiology, Functional Anatomy and the Assessment of movement patterns. In going back to college in to gain a qualification as a Soft Tissue Therapist, Sports Therapist and Biomechanics Coach, I further advanced my understanding, which allows me to help others who are struggling with their own physical limitations or pain. My services are aimed at providing a bespoke treatment with the clients goals being met, weather they are injury rehabilitation, performance optimisation or a reduction in pain. I'm qualified, insured, affiliated and offer a professional and friendly service, click here to read some client feedback.
